Mathematics and Engineering
Students must satisfy program requirements (core) for both the College of Arts and Sciences and the College of Engineering.
Students must also meet the College of Arts and Sciences standards for admission.
BS in Mathematics and Civil and Environmental Engineering
The 24 required credits for mathematics and the 28 credits (CEE 305, 320, 330, 355, 361, 370/370L, 375, 381) for civil
engineering cannot be double counted. Math 302 or Math 307 may be counted towards the 24 required credits for mathematics.
The 15 related credits for mathematics and the remaining uppper division required credits for CEE may be satisfied by the
same courses.
BS in Mathematics and Electrical Engineering
The 24 required credits for mathematics and the 26 credits (Phys 274, Engineering Breadth, EE 315, 323, 324, 342, 371 and
either 361/361L, or 326/326L, or 341/341L, depending on track) for EE cannot be double counted. Math 302 or Math 307 may
be counted towards the 24 required credits for mathematics. The 15 related credits for mathematics and the remaining required
credits for EE may be satisfied by the same courses.
BS in Mathematics and Mechanical Engineering
The 24 required credits for mathematics and ME 311, 312, 322, 331, 341, 371, 372, 373, 374, 375, 401, and 402 cannot be double
counted. Math 302 or Math 307 may be counted towards the 24 required credits for mathematics. The 15 related credits for
mathematics and the remaining required credits for ME may be satisfied by the same courses.
Mathematics and Bioengineering
Students must satisfy program requirements (core) for both the College of Arts and Sciences and the College of
Tropical Agriculture and Human Resources. Students must also meet the College of Arts and Sciences standards for admission.
BS in Mathematics and Bioengineering
The 24 required credits for mathematics and the engineering courses ME 311, ME 322 or CEE 320, BE 350, BE 350L, BE 360,
and BE 373 cannot be double counted. Math 302, Math 307, or Math 311 may be counted towards the 24 required credits in
mathematics. The 15 related credits for mathematics and the remaining requried courses for BE may be satisfied by the
same courses.
